Additionally, we will demonstrate efficient Brownfield project capturing using Autodesk Platform Services (shared Views, B360) and the CINTOO platform, enabling us to create high-quality 3D planning by integrating precise laser scans into our designs. We will also explore the powerful simplifying and streamlining complex steel structure modeling to be used in Inventor.

This case study will cover portfolio creation on business intelligence developed by Toyota Motor North America and Autodesk Consulting. We will discuss Toyota's business requirements, KPIs, and metrics. We'll evaluate Autodesk sources—including Data Connector and the Autodesk Platform Services Token Flex API—against Toyota's requirements. The presentation will teach BI development from raw data extracted from Autodesk products. It will list technical aspects of the ELT process for data extracting, loading, and transforming. An area of focus will be the data engineering processes required to produce meaningful consolidated tables, where data are sliced and diced to target KPIs. The final products include modules' BI dashboards for Executive Overview, RFIs, Issues, Submittals, Forms, Assets, and token consumption, which transform raw data into actionable insights that inform tactical business decisions. The visuals generated from BI equip Toyota with detailed intelligence about the state of the business.

The Autodesk Developer Network is made up of the Autodesk Platform Services (formerly Forge) Developer Portal and the Autodesk Platform Services App Marketplace. Together they enable customers and partners to build apps that extend and integrate Autodesk products for internal use or to offer to Autodesk customers through the App Marketplace. This integration embeds our files into vectors, forming the foundation for a Q&A system. This groundbreaking approach signifies a knowledge revolution, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and accessibility, regardless of workforce dynamics.

Municipalities frequently face issues with tight budgets, inefficient processes, legal requirements, and outdated technology that hamper their missions to be good stewards of public resources. The City of Madison Engineering Division was faced with the sunset of legacy software vital to its operations. This class will tell the story of how we improved change orders to construction projects (our most complicated process) through the use of cloud software. Autodesk Construction Cloud was our primary tool, but we quickly realized the benefits of automations through Autodesk Platform Services and Workato. City staff, Autodesk, and our consultant Team D3 provided valuable support and insights throughout this team effort. This class will specifically demonstrate how you can import form data to Cost Management, how document templates save tedious data entry, how review and communications stay in the platform, and how change orders to the contract are digitally approved.

This sharing session will touch upon PennDOT's (Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's) innovative initiatives with augmented reality, drone data capture for both design and construction, and its Project Delivery Collaboration Center solution. We currently have multiple pilot projects underway and would like to share our lessons learned and how we plan to tie them all together with a single platform. We plan to make our Project Delivery Collaboration Center solution available this fall. It will provide the backbone for connecting our current legacy systems, future systems, and design collaboration. It is a one-stop shop for the department designers for project file management, workflow, schedule oversight, project health, and more. We plan to cover our work with Datumate, Reconstruct, Elecosoft (Asta) Powerproject, IMAJION, and the Autodesk Construction Cloud platform.

"Data is the new oil.” This quote was made more than 15 years ago, and it's more valid than ever. The architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry is in possession of massive amounts of data, but often struggles to turn it into profit. BuroHappold actively innovates in the field, building out capacity to extract, process, and interpret the data embedded in its intelligent models at scale. This involves setting up a multilevel framework, including databases and code infrastructure, as well as presentation layers. A prototype of the system provides two main functionalities that deliver three types of information in a flexible and extendible manner: building queries and running them against Revit models (correctness) as well as periodic extraction of model metrics (project progress and performance).
